ZACAPA RUM, INFUSED WITH THE SOUCHONG TEA

Ingredients

Sugar Water
  • 200g sugar
  • 100ml water
Zacapa Rum Infused with Souchong Tea
  • 500ml Rum Zacapa
  • 65g Dilmah The First Ceylon Souchong Tea
  • 1 orange peel

MethodSmokey Old Fashioned

  • To create the sugar water, add the sugar together with the water.
  • Boil at a temperature of 180C for about 2-3 minutes while stirring continuously
Zacapa Rum Infused with Souchong Tea
  • Infuse the ingredients together for 6 to 10 days
Build the Drink
  • Pour 15ml of sugar water into an old fashioned glass.
  • Add 40ml of the Ceylon Souchong infused rum to the glass.
  • Stir and serve with a cube of ice.
